  • Wiesław Włodarski founds Gellwe, a company producing desserts based on traditional recipes.

  • Gellwe expands its range of dessert products

  • Expansion of the Gellwe brand into international markets

  • The company builds a new production plant with an office section in Zabierzów.

  • The production plant expands with a modern logistics center.

  • Gellwe introduces a new category – muesli in single-serving sachets under the Fitella brand.

  • The company changes its name to Foodcare.

  • Launch of a new factory in Niepołomice

  • Foodcare's portfolio is enriched with beverage brands – Black, NGIN, and the isotonic drink 4MOVE

  • Foodcare enters the fruit beverage segment by reactivating the iconic Frugo

  • Foodcare begins intensive ambassador collaborations, implementing projects with top sports and television stars.

  • New Gellwe TV campaign with magical helpers in a home cafe.

Wiesław Włodarski

Founder and President of FoodCare

Wiesław Włodarski is the founder and President of FoodCare – one of Poland’s largest FMCG companies, continuously developed since 1984. It was at his initiative that the Gellwe brand was created, which gave rise to the enterprise that today owns recognizable brands such as BLACK, 4MOVE, Frugo, Fitella, Gellwe, NGIN, and Ostromecko.
For over four decades, he has consistently developed the company, focusing on product innovation, building strong brands, and international expansion. Under his leadership, FoodCare has become an enterprise 100% based on Polish capital, exporting its products to 50 countries worldwide.
His management philosophy is based on entrepreneurship, long-term thinking, and courage in making business decisions. For years, he has supported the development of the Polish food industry and invested in creating brands with a strong identity and international potential.
